Default Threaded connectors ok for Bell HD?

I am about 6' short on one of the two RG6 lines I have running from my SW44 switch to my receiver. Can I use a threaded connector to extend the line?

notr sure what you mean ... but you can use a barrel connector to connect 2 lines together to extend your length ... a sat rated connector would be best ... blue core....

if you are meaning a screw on type connector ... one that is not crimped on ... but twisted on ... ... it is not recommended to use this type of connector on satellite
